Mission:
Enhance educational opportunities through provisioning improved resources, instruction and environment for the Lake Dallas Independent School District.

History:
The Lake Cities Education Foundation (LCEF), founded in June of 2000 is a public, non- profit corporation with 501(c) (3) tax status. The Foundation is governed by a 20-member Board of Trustees, representing a cross section of the communities served by the Lake Dallas Independent School District. All Trustees are independent of LDISD; however, district administrators serve as non-voting, ex-officio members.

Concept:
The foundation provides for educational enrichment projects not otherwise available to the Lake Dallas Independent School District. Funding resources include individuals, corporations, neighborhoods, educators, and philanthropic organizations.
